Why am I doing my MSc Computing

I have completed my Computer Science Engineering in the year 2006 from Osmania University at  Hyderabad, India. Since I was studying Engineering I had a thaught to do my higher education in abroad in a new place new environment so today am here at Griffith College Dublin.

Even after completing my Engineering  I had a belief that what all the skills I have that has to be improved to compete with  the present competative world and a urge to learn and study in depth New skills and  knowledge I decided to do a MSc in Computing in order to improve my knowledges by learning new paradigms,studying parallel programming, networking etc.

As a conclusion, I hope this MSc will teach me “how to learn” a very useful skill as I intend to learn new thing on a lifelong basis

The Development, Security and Future of the Cloud Computing

Introduction:-

Am discussing about the Development, Security and Future of Cloud Computing with the help of two research papers which I have read from IEEE website. The first paper is “Cloud Computing Research and Development Trend”  and the second paper is “Cloud Computing System Based on Trusted Computing Platform” In these papers we discuss the Development, Security and future of Cloud Computing.

My views

I agree that the Cloud computing has a very good future in computing and also challenges like security and data loss. When all these challenges can over comes then we can say that Cloud computing has a very good future in the field of computing.

Cloud computing provides people a way to share large amount of distributed resources belonging to different organizations. The characters of cloud computing are Ultra large-scale, Virtualization, High Reliability, Versatility, High extensibility, on demand service and  extremely inexpensive.[1]

The most worrying question is the privacy of cloud computing. It is reported by world privacy forum that the data based on cloud computing include: the client’s record, tax data, finance data, Email, health record, word processing document, excel and powerpoint document. The most popular business application based on internet is salary and client account management. This information is very sensitive. These things happened more than once, and every time the data loss is very big. [1]. The solution for this was given by The Berkeley paper’s solution is the data encryption.. The data encryption can alleviate with has no intention or the evil intention disclosed that an information related part of privacy risk – this kind of encryption already aims at the memory on the cloud computing service provider’s server’s data, but also aims at transmits to end-user’s data.

The issues related to securities can be addressed by adopting one of the following

1. Trusted Cloud Computing based on TCP[3]
2. Role Based Access Control Model in cloud computing environment[3]
3. Trusted Platform Support Service (TSS)[3]

Cloud computing provides an efficient, scalable, and cost-effective way for today’s

organizations to deliver business or consumer IT services over the Internet. A

variety of different cloud computing models are available, providing both solid support for core business functions and the flexibility to deliver new services[3]
